Winter 2026
After-School Clubs

We are happy to offer both teacher-led and community-based clubs. Teacher-led club registration will open at 7 PM on December 9 and close at 5 PM on January 2. Selection will be on a first come, first served basis until all spots are filled. Community-based club registration is run via each business website so check out their websites for more information.

Clubs run for eight sessions starting the week of January 12th and are held on days school is in session from 3:30-4:30 PM (unless otherwise noted). Parents are responsible for picking up their children at 4:30 PM on club days. Clubs will not meet on early release days.

Needs-based scholarships for teacher-led programs are available on a limited basis. You must reach out to Joslyn Waldron at jnwaldron@fcps.edu BEFORE registration opens on December 9 for a code to register. We will not be able to accommodate any scholarship requests after registration opens.

Registration for teacher-led clubs will open at 7 PM on December 9. We will be using Zeffy to register for teacher-led clubs and you will pay at the time of signup. Please note that you should NOT pay any additional fees to Zeffy. Please see below for FAQs.

Community-based club registration is run via each business website. Check out the registration links listed in the clubs below for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in our after-school programs! We encourage all families to please read and review the following FAQs before enrolling. Can’t find an answer to your question? Feel free to email us at afterschool@bonniebraepto.org.

#1: A club I’m interested in is full. Can you add my student to a waitlist or ask the instructor to add another spot?

While we certainly understand the disappointment of not getting a spot in a desired club, our software system doesn’t allow for a waitlist, and the maximum number of students per club is set by each instructor prior to the start of enrollment. We do speak with our instructors about potentially adding additional sessions or a second teacher in order to increase capacity the next time we offer clubs. In the rare event that a student has to disenroll from a club, a spot will reopen on Zeffy. Due to the volume of emails we receive, we likely won’t be able to respond to individual waitlist requests or requests to increase the size of clubs. Thanks for understanding!

#2: Can I fill out one registration form for more than one student?

No, you will need to fill out separate forms in Zeffy for each student you wish to enroll. You can, however, enroll the same student in multiple clubs on the same form.

#3: I accidentally enrolled my student in the wrong club. Can you manually transfer him or her into a different club?

Our software system does not allow us to do this. Any student enrolled in a club that is not of the right grade level will be unenrolled, and the registration fee refunded. You are then welcome to enroll in a different club that still has openings.

#4: Can I request a scholarship once enrollment opens?

We kindly ask that all scholarship requests be sent to Joslyn Waldron at jnwaldron@fcps.edu before enrollment begins. Once enrollment opens, we won’t be able to accommodate additional requests.

#5: I missed the enrollment period. Can you add my student to a club or switch him/her to a different club after the deadline?

After enrollment closes, we will be finalizing the rosters for the school administration, and will be unable to make any further additions or swaps to other clubs. Due to the volume of emails we receive, we likely won’t be able to respond to individual messages requesting club additions after registration has closed. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
