Spring 2024 After-School Clubs
We are happy to offer both teacher-led and community-based clubs. Teacher-led club registration will open at 7 PM on Tuesday, March 12. Selection will be on a first come, first served basis until all spots are filled. Community-based club registration is run via each business website - many are open for sign-ups now!
Clubs run for eight sessions starting the week of April 1 and are held on days school is in session from 3:30-4:30 PM (unless otherwise noted).
Needs-based scholarships for teacher-led programs are available on a limited basis. You must reach out to April Bowman at adbowman@fcps.edu BEFORE registration opens on March 12 for a code to register. We will not be able to accommodate any scholarship requests after registration opens.

Baseball Bunch
The Baseball Bunch Club with focus on the fundamentals of baseball; hitting, throwing, and fielding. Proper mechanics, understanding the rules of the game and the positions on the field will be taught. Safety will be a priority with foam bats and soft balls being used. All participants will be to bring a baseball mitt to club.

Volleyball Club
Are you looking for a sport that requires a positive team relationship, builds good communication skills, increases upper body strength and delivers an unlawful amount of fun? Come join the volleyball club. Develop into a volleyball player with offensive and defensive skills, learn positioning and game play. If you have never played, no worries you have to start somewhere. This club is for both boys and girls.

Percy Jackson Book Club
In the Percy Jackson Book Club we will be reading the first Percy Jackson book, The Lightening Thief. We will read a few chapters during each club meeting, discuss the chapter, and then talk about the strengths of our characters. While we are listening to the chapters students can color, play with play doh or Legos, and other activities provided by Miss Warr or just sit and listen!

Hispanic & Latino Cultural Club offers its members exposure to the Spanish-speaking world and its rich, diverse cultures. Club members will be exposed to music, movies, art, clothing, and food! This is a social club that welcomes any student who wants to join... contrary to the name, there is no need to know any Spanish here or be of Hispanic or Latino decent!
