FLEX

The FLEX (Foreign Language Experience) program is an after school program that gives students an introduction to new languages and cultures.  Instructors are employed by Fairfax County Public Schools and are provided with a curriculum guide and other teaching materials that support the classroom instructional activities.

The Bonnie Brae PTO is proud to offer three sections of Spanish Level 1 this spring: one for kindergarteners, one for grades 1-3, and one for grades 4-6.  Each section will have 10 sessions, beginning in February.  There is a maximum of 15 students in each section, so register early!  The total cost, including materials, is $159.

If you would like to read more about the program or to register, go to ACE FLEX.  Once there, scroll down to see the three sections listed at Bonnie Brae, then on the right hand side of the page, click “Register” for the appropriate grade level class:

·         For kindergartens, choose section 0020 with Ms. Lillo on Tuesdays, beginning February 19, 3-4 pm.

·         For grades 1-3, choose section 0021 with Ms. Chavez on Tuesdays, beginning February 19, 3-4 pm.

·         For grades 4-6, choose section 0022 with Ms. Furuya on Thursdays, beginning February 14, 3-4 pm.

Registration ends February 11 for grades 4-6, and February 14 for K and grades 1-3.  Students will be supervised from after school until they are picked up.  Questions? Contact Sheri Marti at flex@bonniebraepto.org.
