After School Programs

Are you ready to run? Learn about nutrition and proper running technique? Then join the Bonnie Brae RunFit Kidz spring team!

 

RunFit Kidz is the only running program in the area taught by certified fitness professionals. Our non-competitive program is a wonderful place where kids are encouraged to strive for their own personal goals, be active with friends and build confidence.  Our spring program includes the following:


§  Open to boys and girls in grades 2nd – 6th. (If you have an interested 1st grader please contact corky@runfitkidz.com)

§  Games, activities and drills to bring running concepts alive.

§  Registration is on a First Come First Serve basis – so register early!

§  7 weeks for 1hr 15min per session.

§  First session starts Thursday, April 5th.  After-school 3:15 – 4:35PM.

§  5K Celebration Run is Saturday, May 19th at The Workhouse in Lorton, VA.

§  $95 includes training with a nationally certified coach, entry into the chip timed 5K, milestone tokens, commemorative RFK t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and post-5K festivities.

Acting for Young PeopleFeb 9-May 10Friday3:15-4:15$130 (incl $10 materials fee) 128-24K-2Music Room (Lower) After an enormously successful Fall session, AFYP is back. Students will learn acting through games, improvisation, story telling and text. Students build confidence and each will make a significant contribution at the final presentation held on the last day of class.
