Fundraising
- Wrapping Paper
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Sally Foster Wrapping Paper fundraiser. While we made a little less than last year's fundraiser, we've heard from many of the area schools that their income was down significantly. Fortunately we are still well within the PTO budget for the year. BBES students sold over $20,000 in materials, and BBES PTO will receive more than $10,000.
Many, many thanks to the fundraising committee, especially Sharon Schwartz, Danielle Furlich, and Hanifa Mojda who spent hours going through the orders to perform the audits required by Sally Foster. I also appreciate the tolerance of the Bonnie Brae families that we had to contact for clarification. In the end we had just one form that did not have the student's name enclosed - we're still having those delivered - so if you're the one family whose materials do not show up, I probably have your orders! Congratulations to all the students that did such incredible work selling so much to support our school!
Orders will be delivered at the end of October and may be picked up from your child's teacher on conference days, November 2nd and 3rd.
- Holiday Shoppe
While we haven't yet made it past Halloween, planning for the BBES Holiday Shoppe is already underway. The Shoppe will take place Monday, December 7. We'll need lots of volunteers that night so please complete a volunteer form and turn it in to the school office.
- Spirit Wear
BBES logo items are selling well. We'll continue to sell the items we have on hand at PTO events and you can still order items online, which will be delivered to your home. Orders placed online by the October 9 deadline should be delivered by the end of this month.
